2009-07-01 - You might have noticed it already because of the MOTD...

The 1vs1 League is celebrating its 5th anniversary!
It started with a simple HTML page, Zongo as maintainer and just one or two servers hosted by Pimpinella. During the last five years the 1vs1 League had its ups and downs but due to its great players it's still/again a quite active league (5 years; ≈450 players; ≈19,000 official matches; ≈10 matches/day). Thanks to everyone who was/is involved in keeping this league attractive (players, server owners, ...)!

Since June we have another fallback for match reporting. Beside the live-reporting via plug-in and the e-mail-reporting via 1vs1 League mailbox we added a second e-mail-reporting. This one uses an e-mail account which catay kindly offered. It's running on a different server with a non-bzleague.com domain to prevent issues such as forgetting domain registration renewals.
